It Started Behind a Shop Counter
Johar began the way most small Pakistani businesses do — with a complaint. Customers kept coming back to the counter saying the same thing: the perfume smelled wonderful in the shop and was gone by lunchtime. So we started blending our own, using proper parfum oils instead of the thin alcohol-heavy mixes everyone was importing, and we gave the first bottles away to regulars to test.
They came back for more. That is the entire origin story. Today every Johar blend is still mixed and hand-filled in Karachi, still aged thirty days before it is sealed, and still tested on the same regulars who told us the truth in the first place. The name means essence — the part of a thing that stays after everything else has evaporated.

Every product page lists the real note pyramid and an honest wear time. If a blend is a soft skin scent rather than a room-filler, we say so.
Honest About What It Is
Our blends are our own compositions. We do not sell counterfeit designer bottles, and we never claim a scent is a copy of something it is not.
Patience Over Speed
A batch is not ready when it is mixed — it is ready thirty days later, once the notes have settled into each other. We will not ship it early.

We would rather send you three samples and lose the sale than have a full bottle sit unopened in your drawer.
